Preparation makes the finish
Before any paint goes on, we fill holes and cracks, sand back rough patches, spot prime bare or patched areas, and clean surfaces so the paint bonds properly. Furniture is moved or covered and floors are protected.
Cutting in by hand around cornices, skirtings and light switches is what separates a professional repaint from a rushed one, so we take the time to get those lines straight.
Choosing colours and finishes
We can talk through colour options with you as part of your quote. Low sheen is the usual choice for living areas and bedrooms, semi gloss suits kitchens, bathrooms and laundries where you need to wipe surfaces down, and enamel is standard for doors and trims.

How the job runs
We give you a written quote with a clear scope, agree on a start date that suits you, and keep the work area clean while we go. At the end of the job we walk through the rooms with you and touch up anything that needs it before we pack up.

- How long does it take to paint the inside of a house?
- A single room is usually a day. A full interior repaint of a typical family home generally takes several days to a week or more, depending on the amount of preparation, the number of coats, and whether ceilings and trims are included. Your quote will include an estimated timeframe.
- Do I need to move out while you paint?
- No. Most clients stay in the home. We work room by room where possible so you always have somewhere to live, and we use low odour paints for interiors.
- Do you supply the paint?
- Yes. We supply premium quality paints and materials as part of the quote. If you have a specific brand or colour in mind, let us know and we will work with it.
- Do you paint ceilings as well as walls?
- Yes. Ceilings, walls, trims, doors and cabinetry can all be included. Tell us what you want covered and the quote will spell it out.
